Christmas among the Ponderosas

Today is Christmas and it is beautiful in the Ponderosa Pine forest where I live. We were lucky enough to get a few inches of snow overnight to make it a truly White Christmas. I thought that it would only be right to share my wildlife garden christmas gifts with you.

Do you see what I see? A deer, a deer hiding in the bush.

    • Kevin, believe it or not it is rather rare for us to get snow on Christmas Eve/Day, even though we live in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. And this year it is especially nice since we have had very little moisture (rain or snow). So Mother Nature has given us a special gift in more ways than one!

  4. What a serene setting in which to spend Christmas. Those pines are absolutely beautiful!
